About Candi and The Strangers
Candi and the Strangers are an electro psychedelic pop band from Austin, TX. Founding members John Constant, Samantha Constant, Greg Rose, and Angie Rose recorded their album with respected local producer Erik Wofford (The Black Angels, White Denim), who then joined their band. The debut self-titled album was self-released in November 2009. Their sound has been described as "what you get when you combine '60s era French pop, the Virgin Suicides soundtrack, plus a bit of Portishead if they were in a really good mood."
