About As the Sky Lites Up
Formed in June of 2009 in the middle of San Antonio, Texas, As the Sky Lites Up (ATSLU) was created by the vocalist, Kaitlynn Stilley (Kat), and Nick Stephens, as to originally be an acoustic side project, but it soon became a full scale band. Immediately after joining the music scene, they were asked to play their first show, which happened to be a battle of the bands, they nearly stole the show placing second. From poppy tunes, to hardcore breakdowns and brutal screams, ATSLU cannot be classified as just one genre.
