About 25m Floater

1996. Los Angeles. In an apartment covered by the dust of the burnt out, so called lo-fi movement, 25m Floater was formed. The first recordings were inexcuseably dubbed over some Pixies songs via a 4-track onto a ragged, old BASF cassette. A year later. Kobe, Japan. The band starts playing live. The first shows being so unpolished and lacking considerable technique that they became somewhat tragicomedy-esque performances. A few more cassettes (this time Maxell) are released and though consisting mostly of noise
