About Zimt
1. Zimt is Matias Aguayo and Michael Mayer, a collaboration based in Cologne, Germany which focused primarily on Acid Techno with euro-pop and disco influences. Their most popular release was "Shake It!", released in 1998 and the single titled "U.O.A.A. Shake It!" features a remix by Jürgen Paape and a second version of "Shake It!". Michael Mayer would later team with Jürgen Paape and Wolfgang Voigt to start the infamous Kompakt Label in Cologne. 2. Zimt was an experimental / new wave / post punk band from Tübingen, Germany, early 1980s.
