About Zazhil
Zazhil is a group of musicians born and raised in the capital of Mexico- Mexico City. Since 1981 they have focused on the musical tradition of “son” and all of its diverse expressions, mixing the traditional Mexican Son with contemporary Rhythms. Thus ZAZHIL is known as the pioneer of Mexican Son with Fusion. Concurrently its members have participated individually in projects focused on classical and contemporary music, South-American and Afro-Antillean music, “canto nuevo,” flamenco, rock and jazz music.
