About Zahl
Zahl was a Norwegian Americana group. It was founded in Bergen, Hordaland, Norway by Geir Zahl, a singer-songwriter best known as co-founder and guitarist of alternative rock band Kaizers Orchestra. The line-up consisted of Geir Zahl (vocals, guitar), Christer Knutsen (piano, organ, guitar, backing vocals), Pål Hausken (drums, backing vocals), Bård Halsne (guitar, backing vocals), and Eirik Lye (bass). Zahl wrote all of the band's material between 2003 and 2006.
