About Yossi Piamenta

Yossi Piamenta is a U.S.-based Israeli guitarist. After finishing boarding school, Piamenta joined a Top-40 cover band as their lead guitarist. Then he joined the army, and played in the Army Band. After completing his army service, he became a full-time musician. During the Yom Kippur War Piamenta, together with his fifteen-year old brother Avi, now an international acclaimed flautist, played for the soldiers. After that, the two brothers formed The Piamenta Band, which went on to play with the most prestigious Israeli musicians.
