About Yoshio Kurahashi
Yoshio Kurahashi was born in Kyoto. HIs father Yodo Kurahashi was a master of the Shakuhachi and founded the Mujuan Shakuhachi School . Yoshio Kurahashi has been teaching and performing for some 30 years now. A diverse, and dynamic performer, he is often invited to do workshops and performances, of traditional music and classic performances with orchestras, all around the world. He lives in Kyoto and is the current head of Mujuan School with students all over the world.
