Y.K. The Pilot (aka Y.K. Cleveland) is a Cleveland, Ohio-based producer and songwriter currently working with rapper Robb Relo on VSOP: Very Special Once Played. He began his career in 2003 as the front man of former rap group J-squad. His influences include new jack swing producer Teddy Riley, Organized Noize, Shawty Redd, Dr. Dre and R. Kelly. He actually didn't listen to hip hop growing up, instead tuning his ears to 90's R&B, Dance, southern gospel and funk.
