About Yiorgos Fakanas
Bio: · 1981 – 1984: Becomes a member of Eurojazz (Jazz band of European Union),represanting Greece, touring around Europe. · 1984 – 1988: He forms the group ISKRA. The band toured Greece and Europe. He releases his debut albums ‘A New Day’ and ‘Parastasis’, and records on numerous albums as a session musician. · 1988: He releases the album ‘Horizon’ (compositions for Big Band) with Greek and international guests. · 1988 – 1990: He is performing with his group around Greece.
