Γιώργος Μπάτης (1885 –1967) was a Greek musician, singer, and writer of rembetika. His name is variously Romanised, including Giorgos Batis, Yiorgos Batis, and Yiorgos Ampatis. Yiorgos Batis was born Γιώργος Τσώρος (Yiorgos Tsoros) in Methana in 1885, and moved to Piraeus when he was very young. He served in the Greek army from 1912 to 1918.
