About YFC
YFC emerged from the early 80's Christchurch, NZ scene among such luminaries as The Gordons and The Builders. YFC (originally a pisstake of the religious organisation Youth for Christ, but the band were later forced to change their name due to legal action) were characterised by their 2 bass and drums line-up. In 1984 they travelled to Auckland to record their an EP which was released on the 'Hit Singles' label. Recorded by Flying Nun stalwart producer Doug Hood the EP was acclaimed as 1 of the best of the year.
