yelworC (Crowley* spelled backwards) began in Germany around 1987, started by Peter Devin and Dominik van Reich. They developed a unique style of EBM, combining heavy bass lines, danceable beats, and horror film inspired atmospherics. Their first release, >, was an instant classic amongst electro-industrial fans, and their Blood In Face EP was equally well regarded.
