Straight from the Motherland, Young C was born and raised in Botswana and began rapping at the age of 12. His very first freestyle was to R. Kelly’s track ‘Fiesta’, and a hunger to become a better MC grew from then on. Without having access to a studio, Young C would record over tapes he could find in his home. But it was in 2008, that he took the solemn decision to take his music career one step further and begin to record his music professionally.
