Yatao - the Handpan Duo Between 2014 and 2022 YataoMusic has established themselves as one of the world’s best known handpan duos, counting more than 50 million online streams. Until 2020 Malte Marten and Alexander Mercks (together “Yatao”) played hundreds of donation-based concerts throughout Europe and built a huge international fanbase. While the world was locked down during 20/21 also their friendship got locked down. This is why you’ll find them now as individual handpan artist, each one delivering a very own style and vibe.
