Y2K 2K9 is a two piece rap crew from San Diego, California. The group was born in 2009 after Tré and Jesse, both already established San Diego hip-hop icons (see DJ Fatz, DJ Pot O' Gold), ended years of hip hop competition and came together on their first single "Put It On The Slyde." Their debut album, "Y2K 2K9 Presents: 2K10," was released in 2010. They are avid supporters of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dairy Queen, Subway, and Squirt Soda.
