About Witt
Two arists have used the name Witt. 1. Witt are a 3 piece math rock band from San Diego, California comprised of Jesse Kranzler, Henry Wessman and Evan Backer. The group started in 2007 and named themselves after their band teacher, Mr. James P. Witt. The group released an EP online in 2007 and released their first full length entitled, "Whip.", in 2009 on Young Optimists Records. They have since played numerous shows throughout the San Diego area and have gone one a California tour.
