About Xyris
Xyris is a modern metal band who aren't afraid to delve into various genres but are terrified of generating music that sounds like it's been done before. Xyris was formed in Savannah, Georgia in 2007. The lineup consists of Phil Bielata, Carlos Velasco, Ben and Jerome Tave. Xyris sounds like a fusion of Metalcore and Alternative Rock with a Progressive twist. Songs were carefully written and recorded a year before they were played live. Musicality
