About Xaxakes
It´s the group of the singer, composer and writer Yannis Nastas. His first concert was in 1977 with the Strawberries, a pop-punk group that apart from his own compositions, also played songs by the Stranglers, Devo, Talking Heads, Clash and others. In 1980 he created the Proxies that lasted until the middle of the 90s. His involvement with this style lasted until 1983. In 1991 he started collaborating with Domini while at the same time he gave concerts with songs exclusively by Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, David Bowie and others.
