About Wreck and Reference
Wreck and Reference is an experimental / noise / drone / electronic project based in Los Angeles, California. Originally founded in Davis, California, they have since evolved into a duo that eschews traditional rock instrumentation in favor of synths, samples, and live percussion. The current members are Felix Skinner and Ignat Frege (both vocals, production). A past member is Sam Chiang (guitar). They first garnered attention with the EP Black Cassette (2011) and the full-length No Youth (2012).
