There are multiple artists with the name Wounds. 1) Wounds is a technical death metal band from Chicago, self-described as "Brutal Tech Metal Straight Outta Chicago!" To date, they have released an EP and one album. They have been described as being influenced by the style of early Psycroptic, combining technicality, brutality, and groove elements not commonly seen in that type of music. Their debut EP, 'Light Eater,' was released on February 15th, 2019, and was met with praise by the underground death metal community.
