About World Column
The World Column was a late '60s R&B band that featured among others Joel Kaplan and Dave Meyer. Their single "Lantern Gospel" was released on ATCO on June 27 1968. Their 2nd single "So Is The Sun" on Tower Records provides the basis for The Jam's song Trans-Global Express. Their releases are now coveted by Northern Soul collectors.
