About White Pride
Purporting to be the first racialist American punk band, White Pride formed in St. Louis, Missouri in 1982. They became infamous for their highly offensive lyrics from pretty much all of the early American punk scene and it didn’t take long for the anti-racist groups of the day to start boycotting them. From the horse's mouth: "I knew three of the four guys in WP, and played in Drunks with Guns with the drummer, who sang for Drunks. Those songs were all recorded in ’81 or 82.
