About When Knives Go Skyward
When Knives Go Skyward was first created by members Chad Kapper and Josh Travis (former members of defunct well-known St. Louis bands Ninetrigger and Rules For Ransom as a side project in the summer of 2003. With Kapper on vocals and Travis on guitars, many ideas started coming out and the writing process just took off from there. Travis has a unique style of playing that mimics more of a composed piece of music but with a corruption of rust thrown over the top of it.
