About Welcome Stranger
Who says there can't be rock bands with edge from the rural parts of the Netherlands? Welcome Stranger is a band consisting of close friends and fellow musicians, from a couple of small towns in the eastern part of the Netherlands, who want to make a subtle mix between catchy pop rock, like blink 182, Sum 41, the Maine and the Summer set, and old school bands such as Toto, Van Halen, Led Zepplin, and Thin Lizzy etc. They've been playing gigs since late 2010, and have been generating a small but steady fan base over the last few months.
