Wartburgs für Walter was a punk band from East Berlin in the former German Democratic Republic, formed in September 1987. The band played a unique sounding style of post-punk, reminiscent of American deathrock. Wartburgs für Walter recorded one demo in 1987, before splitting up in 1989.
