About Warm Sounds
The Warm Sounds were a harmony duo of Barry Husband (aka Barry Younghusband) (guitar, bass, vocals), formerly of Tuesday's Children, and Denver Gerrard (guitar, vocals) and occasionally Candy John Carr (drums), who got together just in time to greet the Summer of Love with a psychedelic-pop classic called "Birds & Bees," The Warm Sounds existed from 1967 until 1968. Toward the end of their time together, the duo was experimenting with backward tapes and heavily overdubbed psychedelic effects.
