Wally Tax (born Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 14 February 1948; died 10 April 2005, also in Amsterdam) was a Dutch rock singer, songwriter and icon of the Dutch 1960s, best known as the long-haired frontman of Amsterdam's finest in sixties beat, The Outsiders. He also released solo records. Wally Tax was one of Holland's most iconic rock & roll performers in the 1960s and ‘70s, first earning fame as the lead singer with The Outsiders and later making a name for himself as a solo artist and a songwriter.
