Born in Austin, Tx, wahrk draws his influence from various odd sources, including video games, J-rock, hardcore, and sometimes even other electronic musicians. His style is a mashup of IDM, breakcore, dubstep, acid, and 16-bit chiptunes, comparable to artists such as Wisp, Squarepusher, Frog Pocket, and Boxcutter.
