About Von Pea
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Von Pea began releasing music professionally in 2006. His strongest influences are A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Common, & The Roots. In 2004 Von Pea was featured on Phonte and Nicolay’s Foreign Exchange “Connected” album (“Von Sees”) and is considered his breakthough into the indie hip hop scene. Von has released critically acclaimed projects such as 2010’s “Pea’s Gotta Have It” and 2013's "Duly Noted" with Philadelphia producer Aeon.
