About Violet Addiction
Violet Addiction formed by mutti and a buch of school mates from majeediyya, in the name of "Homicide". After a year or so Athy joined the band as the band lacked a lead Vocal. There was a change in the line up too. The Name was Changed to Violet Addiction and first performed in Painted Sound Illusion 2, The revolutionary Rock Show which was held in Male in 94 and 95. The Band's style gained popularity among the youth. Violet Addiction is famous for presenting Original Maldivian Dhivehi Songs in a unique style.
