Violante Placido (born 1 May 1976) is an Italian actress and singer. She is the daughter of actor and director Michele Placido. She was born in Rome, the daughter of Placido and actress Simonetta Stefanelli. She debuted alongisde his father in Quattro bravi ragazzi, and later took part in the successful Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo; her first important role was however in L'anima gemella, directed by Sergio Rubini.
