About Vince Melouney
Vince Melouney was born August 18, 1945 in Sydney, Australia. Early 1963 Vince Melouney heard all the new music coming over from England. His idea was to form a band influenced by this new sound and at the same time creating something unique in Australia. With friend John (Bluey) Watson they formed the VIBRATONES (instrumental surf music). By the end of the year Vince & John had new ideas about their future and formed the AZTECS (still mainly an instrumental band with Vince Lead Guitar
