About Vin Gordon
Vin Gordon aka Trommie, Don D. Junior or Don Drummond Jr, born Aug. 4, 1949, is a Jamaican trombone player. Gordon grew up in Jones Town, Kingston as one of eight children. He went to Kingston's catholic Alpha School where he learned to play trombone and string bass. One of his tutors was Lennie Hibbert. During this time he made some important contacts to other pupils from that school like Roland Alphonso. After graduating from Alpha in the mid 1960s
