About Victorian Parents
Active: December 1979 - January 1983 Formed in December 1979 Victorian Parents proceeded on a three year life span which grew out from Lichfield taking them initially to Germany for the summer, where they played on circuit for two months. With that exercise complete, the VP's returned home to begin afresh and in January 1981 they produced their first single "Dead Red Grass Of Home"/"Another Waste Of Time" which by chance gained the attention of Frank Neilson (at that time of Polydor) who signed them up for a five year album contract.
