About Via Talas

A forgotten new-wave ex-yugoslavian band, who reached its fame due to song „Sama“ („Alone“) appearing in Bata Prelic’s “Šećerna vodica” movie soundtrack. Band was formed in 1981 in Beograd, Serbia and the members were: Mira Mijatović (vocal), Bojan Pečar, Dušan Gerzić Gera and Miško Plavi. The group started working in the beginning of eighties, recording songs “Hawaii (Najlepši kraj)” and “Lilihip (My boy lollipop)” for “Artistička radna akcija” compilation (1981).
