About Veronika Fischer
Veronika Fischer, born 28. July 1951 in Wölfis, Thuringia, German Democratic Republic) is a German Singer. In 1968 Veronika Fischer began to study music at the Dresden Music College Carl Maria von Weber. While studying she performed with a variation of bands, such as the Fred-Herfter-Combo and the Stern-Combo Meissen. Her first album was released in 1972 with the band Panta Rhei, members of which later founded the band Karat, one of East Germany's most famous musical exports.
