About Vena Portae
There are two artists called Vena Portae: 1. A Russian band 2. An Anglo-Swedish alt.folk project 1. Vena Portae is a Russian band formed by Artem Demidov in Barnaul (Altai Kray) in 2006. He started out with dark-ambient, noise, abstract and experimental. Next years the music changed into IDM, ambient, glitch, downtempo. The author started using recorded sounds of towns, trains, nature and people. He calls the songs «photographic tracks». Each song is a real story, an event that becomes a sound.
