About Vedat Akarsu
Vedat Akarsu (born 1996, Batman, Northern Kurdistan/Turkey) is a Kurdish Kurmanji singer in prominently known in Dengbêj style - similar to a bardic oratory storytelling, where he gained widespread acknowledgement after finishing fourth in the first season of Kurd Idol in 2017. Akarsu is married and had been working in the construction and textile industry. Due to his living conditions, he had to take a break from his education while he was still in primary school.
