
About Mikail Aslan
The Kurdish folk musician Mikail Aslan (Tenbur, Saxophon, Guitar, Singing), cousin of Ahmet Aslan, was born in 1972 in Tunceli. After ten years he had to migrate, together with his family, to Kayseri. After his graduation from high school, he attended university to study mathematics. In his second year in university he had to prematurely break the study due to political reasons, and began to work professionally in in the music business. Since his childhood, he has played the Tenbur.
