About Vector Trio
Official Website: http://www.vectortrio.com/ Vector Trio began life in 1996 simply as Vector, the brainchild of trumpeter/composer Scott Forrey. Then a septet, the group delved into collective improvisation, free jazz, and deep harmolodic funk; a run of gigs on DC's U Street corridor culminated in the CD "Sonic Hieroglyph," released in 1997. The year 2000 saw a stripped-down Vector release "Contagious Images" as a quintet. The new millennium brought about new challenges to Vector, now simply Vector Trio.
