About Vaurio
Vaurio was formed in Naantali, Finland in June 1981. They recorded an EP "Sortoa ja vainoa" (1983) and an album "Huuto yöstä" (1984). The album, recorded for Finnish Propaganda Records, was released in Germany with the name translated into English as A Shout From the Night in 1985. Sortoa ja vainoa EP was for a very long time unreleased, for obscure reasons, but the Propaganda - Hardcore '83 CD reissue (1996) by Kraklund Records of Finland included it as a bonus.
