
About Vanessa Wagner
Vanessa Wagner (born 11 June 1973, in Rennes) is a French classical pianist. She studied in the class of Dominique Merlet at the Conservatoire de Paris. At 17, she won the first prize, and went on to study with Jean-François Heisser. On the recommendation of the pianist Leon Fleisher, she took up a place at the Academy at Cadenabbia, in Italy, where her teachers included Fleisher himself, Fou Ts'ong, Karl Ulrich Schnabel, Murray Perahia and Alexis Weissenberg.
