Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan,son of Mai Buddi and Ustad Ali Bakhsh Khansahib,was hailed as the Tansen of the 20th.century.He was the first great showman of Hindustani classical music.His musical prowess is unparallel even today ,more than 40 years after his death . Born in Kasur ,near Lahore on the 2nd April 1902,he was the eldest amongst the 5 children of Ustad Ali Bakhsh Khansahib,the court musician of Kashmir under Maharaja Hari Singh.
