About Unto Ashes
Musical ensemble Unto Ashes (New York City) incorporates medieval, neofolk, neoclassical, and sometimes black metal and post-punk. Founded by Michael Laird and Susanna Melendez in 1997, the band has released nine full-length CDs on the Projekt label. With long-time vocal/keyboardist Natalia Lincoln leaving the band in mid 2010's, Laird has been the only member of the band that was present on all of their releases. Unto Ashes founder and producer is Michael Laird who plays acoustic guitar
