About Unorthadox
Robert Coenen (1981), op straat beter bekend als Unorthadox, is geboren en getogen op De Kaap, een wijk in Rotterdam Zuid. Op zijn 11e kwam Unorthadox in aanraking met de toen net opbloeiende Hiphop cultuur. Het rappen was hem op het lijf geschreven. Naast de gebruikelijke stoere teksten, wist Unorthadox al op jonge leeftijd heel bewust om te gaan met de kracht van het woord. Niet alleen wat hij meemaakte, maar vooral ook wat dit met hem deed zette hij om in rapteksten.
