There are two artists called (the) Union Boys: 1) A 1940's folk group put together to record for the Asch label 2) A punk band from Boston 1) The Union Boys were a studio group put together in March 1944 by New York City folk label Asch Records to record pro-labor and anti-fascist songs. Produced by Alan Lomax, the tracks were released on the 3 disc collection, Songs for Victory: Music for Political Action, which included a collaboration with Woody Guthrie and Cisco Houston.
