In the beginning of 2000 Rustam with his friend Mike Cheater forms the Unformal The first studio record they had ever had was Apocalypse 21 in Wire Records. BIC Fest 01 was a very big event for Baku Underground organized by ODER. Unformal gets Golden Moon award as the best rock band in Azerbaijan in 2001. From the beginning of 2002 the band gives several concerts all over the country. 25th July 2002 the band participates on International Festival dedicated to day of music.
