About Uncle Pinky
Representing the urban landscapes, small towns, and backroads of the Wild, Wild Midwest comes Uncle Pinky—an alternative country/Americana band—singing truth to power and giving voice to the voiceless. The band features Mark Austin and John Matthew. Their current project, American Eclipse, a story of real struggling men and women in tough economic times, explores the promises and perils of the American Dream. Their forthcoming EP, “Five American Songs” (early 2017), will feature music drawn from that album.
