About Otis Read
Otis Read was born in NYC in 1953(!) and ended up glued to RI (after living in New Jersey, CT, and Italy for stints of various times). Otis produced a bunch of instrumental recordings for North Star Records in the 1980's and finally took the time to record "Turn A Page" a collection his own tunes - on which he sings. He has found that his influences go back to the 60's and continue up until the present. His recent release has an Americana feel and has been compared to Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, John Hiatt and others.
